Tiffany Litherland hasn't added a story.
Susan gave birth to a very premature baby 8 years ago during a time when she was suffering through domestic abuse and spousal emotional blackmail.
Isla, her daughter, survived the long treachourous 5 months in hospital NICU and Neonatal care. Isla's story is one that is told often, and the journal that Susan had written in memory of Isla's time there was published into a book. A book her then husband garnishes all the revenue from.
Susan was a contracted production manager for film and television prior to Isla's birth. After Isla was born Susan took on the role of fulltime loving mother and housewife.
After enduring 4 more years of unhappy marriage Susan finally got the courage to leave her husband and begin a new life. Yet it was not without consequences.
Struggling through a difficult custody battle and enforcing a strict supervision of her husband when he had access to Isla, only caused more vengeful behaviour from her husband through retaliatory legal demands.
During this time Susan was living with Family miles away, and after being informed that her custody battle was weakened by the physical distance between her and her husband, she was forced to return.
For most of the past 4 yrs Susan has raised Isla alone, monitoring her special needs requirements. Isla suffers from a unique memory disorder that causes her to be forgetful, which means that Susan must be fully attentive to take her to school, collecting her, and ensuring her daily needs are met.
Isla was being attended to by multiple physicians and specialists which required Susan to transport Isla to and from these appointments upwards of twice a week. Isla also had several therapists who would come to Susan's home weekly for the appointment.
Looking after Isla is a full time job and so Susan has spent the better part of the past few years trying to setup a home-based business to do virtual administration work. This has proven to be difficult.
Without transportation and the hours that Isla requires her attention Susan is unable to work more than a few miles from their home.
As finances quickly dwindled they have been surviving on limited funds and their rental home is now in jeopardy. With being several months behind in payments, and ongoing costs for their home and Isla still required, Susan was handed a Demand Notice for payment of all rental owing in full within 14 days or she is to be Evicted.
She is not able to relocate herself and Isla to stay with family miles away as this will breach her custody agreement, she is in desperate circumstances and dire need of your help!
Please help us raise as much as possible to contribute to Susan and Isla's plight.
Thank you so very much and God Bless.
