I will be journeying to Nairobi, Kenya to do some volunteer work at the Havilla Children's Center from September 15 to December 15, 2014 . This orphange is located in the Kibera slum, which is the biggest slum in Africa. Joblessness within this region forces people to result to prostitution and selling drugs. These activities have created a high spread of HIV aids and it has become a disaster. Many children go day's without food and education is almost nonexsistent among many within the slum. I'm asking you to donate in order to give a future to those who deserve it just as much as anyone else. Look up the Havilla children's Center and see why this is for a good cause! ALL DONATIONS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE ORPHANAGE. This will help buy new school uniforms, help pay teachers, provide food for kid's and enable kid's to get an education. I will be helping by taking care of the orphans and other vulnerable children along with helping people affected and infected by the HIV/AIDS infection. My goal is to try and improve the quality of life for the children around the center.
