As a dedicated TYLO Community Organizer and Barrio Sustainability Changemaker, Lui P has demonstrated his effectiveness in simultanously representing the grassroots envrionmental justice work underway in Tucson and bringing back knowledge and resources from gatherings at the local, regional, and national levels.  With your help, Lui P can now take advantage of a new opportunity to represent Southern Arizona and the Southside of Tucson as a participant in the First National GreenLatinos Retreat.  Please help make this possibility a reality by providing your monetary support today.  For more information about the this great opportunity, please read below:

The GreenLatinos project are holding the First National Gathering of Latino Environment and Conservation Advocates. Bringing together Latino environmental and conservation advocates from across the country for the first time, the GreenLatinos retreat will provide a unique opportunity for leaders to become acquainted and find ways to work in coalition on the common cause of advancing an environmental agenda for the benefit of our communities.

This is an opportunity to: Meet and get to know each other in person in an effort to establish trust & build relationships Establish a GreenLatinos agenda including priorities, goals, strategies and tactics. Explore ways to work in coalition through GreenLatinos.

Who is attending: Latino Environmental/Conservation Advocates Staff from National Latino Organizations Staff from National Green Groups Latinos in Federal, State, County, Municipal Government Environmental/Conservation roles Other interested parties
