Three players/coaches from the GFNA league, Jannene Taylor, Chelsea Smee and Cara Woods have entered the Moonriders London to Brighton night bike ride. It takes place on Friday 12th July 2013.

They have chosen to raise money for two different causes. the first is the Alzheimer's society as this is a cause close to Cara's heart. Cara and her sister Shannen have been playing netball since the age of 10, encouraged by their father Mick, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Mick himself was a keen sportsman, and could often be seen out running locally.

GFNA is the 2nd association they are raising money for. This would help towards the courts at Brune Park (inserted posts, weather wind protector and notice board). The importance of the courts has taken a backward step and they would like to start again by buying equipment to make our environment at our home of netball better.
