Chrissy Hirst gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emily, by C-Section on Monday, March 11. Emily was delivered early at 37 weeks due to preeclampsia. Emily has some lung immaturity and is experiencing breathing difficulties. She was care flighted to Medical City where she remains for the time being. She has had several procedures performed and is currently stable but still has a long road ahead of her. Emily's family lives about 2 hours away from the hospital and is unable to stay at the Ronald McDonald house because of a long waiting list. With Easter right around the corner I thought it would be an awesome showing of love and support for anyone who would like to help the family with hotel, food, medical and fuel expenses by sending "Eggs to Emily." Each egg will cost $10 and I will take all of the eggs along with the donations to the family. I think it will be awesome to see how many eggs we can bring to Emily! I would also love to put notes of prayer or encouragement in each of the eggs. And whether you purchase an egg or not, please say a prayer for little Emily and her family tonight! Thanks for your help!
