This is Carrie..Carrie is a dear friend who Is dealing with breast cancer. We are making every attempt to raise money to help absorb her mounting and endless medical bills. Here is some information on her condition. No donation too small and is very much appreciated.God Bless you! All proceeds go directly into a Paypal account we asked Carrie to set up. I was diagnosed on August 8, 2011 with Stage 3 Ductal Sarcoma in Situ HER2 Positive, Invasive Ductal Sarcoma, and Inflammatory cancer. I have had 5 rounds of Chemotherapy, the 5th round I had such a severe reaction to it, I was hospitalized for 6 days with vertigo, severe fatigue, dehydration, and pain. After consideration from my oncologist to either move forward and finish chemotherapy in the hospital for 6 weeks or move onto surgery, the choice was made collectively with my doctor, my husband, and myself to move onto surgery. On March 9, 2012 I had a bilateral mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction. I am also a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 8. This is now causing problems with my healing ability-after 30 yrs. of being diabetic my circulation is not its best, so I am going in April 10, 2012 to have a debridement and skin grafts to all three of my wounds to help them heal. After I heal well enough, I will then have 35 rounds of radiation to help eradicate my cancer so it will hopefully not return. I will have to have Herceptin Chemotherapy for a full year following my diagnosis to also prevent a return of the cancer. I am probably half way there. The worst is behind me-I hope. There are not as many side effects with radiation usually-but I had all the side effects no one ever has with the chemo so I will just have to wait and see how I react. ~Carrie
