My name is Robert “Bob” Snuck, and I proudly served in B Troop, 4/7 Cavalry Gun Platoon at Camp Stanley, Korea, in the 1970s. Today I’m retired in Tennessee — but my commitment to my brothers-in-arms has never left me.

I’m asking for your support as I take on a new mission with Tours of Duty, a veteran-led nonprofit that searches for and recovers America’s POW/MIA service members still missing from past wars.

There are still tens of thousands of Americans who never made it home. For their families, “missing” is not history — it’s a life sentence of questions.

This winter, I’ll deploy with Tours of Duty to Vietnam to support recovery work that is equal parts sacred and difficult: long days, hard terrain, meticulous searching, and the steady determination to do what should have been done decades ago.

Why I’m doing this now

I’ve worn the uniform. I’ve lived the bond that forms when you serve. And I’ve never been able to accept the idea that we leave people behind — not in war, and not in memory.

This will be my first mission with Tours of Duty. I’m honored to go — and I’m asking you to go with me in the way you can: by helping fund the work.

What your gift will do

My goal is $5,000 to help cover the real costs that make a recovery mission possible, including things like:

• in-country mission logistics and transportation

• mission equipment and field supplies

• operational needs that support search efforts on the ground

• the behind-the-scenes costs that keep the team moving safely and effectively
