We recently built a cute little home for Pedro. He only had a tiny bit of space to build it because he had given the remainder of his land to his daughter Alexandra. 

When we went to present Pedro with his home, Alexandra asked if we could help put a roof on the shack that they are building. 

We don't want to help pay for a roof on a shack.  For $13000 we can build them a new little home that will be safe.  

Currently, Joan has a job as a security guard with a meager income of less than $100 per month.  More than half of that goes to pay rent.  

We commend this young couple for trying to make a shelter for themselves but we don't want to waste any money on roofing materials for the shack they are trying to build.

12. $1200 Roof of the home with wooden rafters and tin plates

This family will now become a special part of your life. We will put weekly updates on the site once the funding is done and the home is being built. After it is complete all the donors will receive a personal message with the before and after photos.

You could even have the opportunity to bring your family to the Dominican Republic to serve and to meet this special family. This is how the home they are trying to build looks like next to her father's new little home built by the foundation.
