Our kids LOVE Gaga Ball! Currently, the only way we can play Gaga Ball at Fir Grove is to take all 6 or 7 of our folding tables and set them up on their sides in a makeshift ring.
This method is cumbersome, slow, and not very safe or sturdy. Every year for Field Day, we do this because the kids love Gaga Ball so much. We would really love to be able to provide the opportunity for such a fun and collaborative activity on a regular basis.
We're raising money for the materials to build a Gaga Ball pit on our playground. We have volunteers who will help assemble and construct it once the materials can be acquired.
Having access to this game at recess could help to give students a constructive group activity to better provide co-operative play opportunities. Plus it's super fun!
Please help us raise the funds to make this happen for the kids at Fir Grove.
UPDATE! WE'VE HAD SUCH A GREAT RESPONSE IN OUR FIRST FEW HOURS, LET'S SEE IF WE CAN GET THE NEXT SIZE UP (20 FT) WHICH WILL ALL MORE STUDENTS TO PLAY AT A TIME.
