Happy Howlidays from Lucky Dog Rescue

We appreciate our supporters SO MUCH.....it is because of YOU that we are able to keep rescuing dogs and fulfilling our mission.

This year we have been very busy saving dogs, many that came to us injured and in need of serious veterinary care and long term fostering.  We also added a Husky Rescue under the Lucky Dog Rescue umbrella and were able to save 26 Huskies since May.

Lucky Dog Rescue saved over 500 dogs as of Dec 28th 2016. We took in 10 moms with little puppies and 18 puppies were born into the rescue when we took in their pregnant moms. ( in some cases we didn't even know the dog we saved was pregnant.)

Our goal is to raise $10,000 by December 31st in order to carry on the mission and be ready for the next round of dogs in need waiting at shelters for our help!

It is end of year and tis the season to save on your tax return and think about donating to your favorite charities!!   We hope we're on your favorites list, and here's why:

We are a 501C(3) charity and your donations are of course always tax deductible!

We are all volunteers with no paid staff so 100% of your donations go to helping dogs!

We are an all-breed rescue who focuses on helping save dogs from needless euthanasia at shelters, and unlike many rescues, we often help the older dogs or the ones with medical needs -- not just the highly adoptable, young ones.  Rescuing these dogs is of course more costly, but also more rewarding!

This year marks our 12 YEAR anniversary!

In those twelve years we have rescued tens of thousands of homeless dogs who would have otherwise been euthanized at shelters or remained homeless on the streets. In order to carry on with our mission we rely heavily on end of year donations to help us pay our vet bills and save more dogs into the New Year!

Here are a few dogs we helped:

Pixie, 10 years old, she was surrendered to us on Christmas eve day last year!

PixiePetey,  an 8 year old Hound mix, who was abandoned by his family after an injury.

Petey

Shanti, a beautiful young Husky girl with a shattered hip and leg. We fixed her all up and she is very happy in her new home and her ordeal is behind her. Thanks to the great work of an orthopedic vet you can't even tell she was ever injured.. Shanti was scheduled for euthanasia at the county pound when  we stepping to in to save her.

ShantiThank you so much,
