Alhassan and Mus are 17 years old. They will be spending christmas in the UK whilst their friends and family face the threat of Ebola in Sierra Leone. Please help me give these boys the English Christmas they deserve. More ...

Alhassan and Mus are 17 years old. They attend a sporting college in England on scholarships thanks to their excellent academic and footballing skills.

Like most 17 year olds who live away from home at college, they are looking forward to spending some much needed time with their family and friends over the christmas period.

Except this year that won't be possible for Mus and Alhassan as their home country of Sierra Leone is in the midst of the largest ever Ebola outbreak.

Both boys attended the Craig Bellamy Foundation Academy based in Tombo in Sierra Leone until earlier this year. The Foundations aim is to provide underprivaleged children the opportunity to reach their full potential through education and sport. Thanks to this opportunity the boys have been accepted onto sporting scholarships in the UK and have been doing well.

Living away from home is hard enough but the boys sadly have limited contact with some of  their loved ones back home as some family members have no  or little access to the internet to speak with them.

The boys will be staying with me for their christmas holidays and I would love to be able to give them an English Christmas to remember. I am looking for your help to fund some fun-filled activities and days out to keep the boys busy and hopefully distract them from the horrors back home.

Please help, being far from family at Christmas is hard enough without all the worries they have as well.
