Buddy is a male golden retriever and has been my companion for ten years. Within the past year he has developed Lipomas. According to the vet it is typically not serious, unfortunately in our case this has developed into a massive growth that is effecting Buddy's ability to walk, The vet says that this turmor must be removed immediately! Buddy is scheduled for surgery on October 28th, 2014 and the cost for this procedure is between $4,000 and $5,000.

I am retired, a veteran and on a fixed income, any assistance in helping me offset this cost would be greatly appreciated. If there are any excess donations they will be donated to a local Arizona animal rescure organization.

If you are interested more inforation on the veterinarian, a detail of the expenses associated with the procedure or have a reccomonedation for a rescue organization, please feel free to contact me at embo10@aol.com.

Below is more detailed information about Buddy's condition.

Lipomas are fatty tumors found commonly in dogs. They appear in middle-aged and senior dogs, usually on the belly or upper legs, but can appear anywhere.

Most lipomas are watched and not surgically removed, but if they are large, impede movement or function, or suspected of being malignant, they are removed surgically.

Thank you very much for your consideration.
