In 2012, I spent three months working in Rasuwa Langtang Liring Orphanage, a place for orphaned and deprived children in the Kathmandu valley. They do wonderful work caring for these children in difficult circumstances, but they have little funding or support. When I was volunteering there, they were caring for 33 children, but since then they have had to send almost half of the children to other homes as, due to financial constraints, they were unable to look after them.

Recently, I received the news that the orphanage manager had passed away. This is very sad news for the children, and his wife in particular, who has now been left as the main carer. I am determined to help them all in any way I can.

In 2012, I raised £800 which was spent on new clothes, shoes, cold weather hats and school bags. I am now hoping to raise as much as possible to help cover medical fees following an outbreak of tubercolosis, education costs, basic food supplies, accommodation rental fees... Basically all the things that these children need to survive.

I am asking for your support. If you can help in any way, however small, I will be truly thankful. Please give what you can to help. Thank you.
