Jenny has breast cancer and is starting chemotherapy. Because this will wipe out her immune system, runny noses are no longer harmless. Jenny has to balance paying her bills with giving her body a chance to heal. This is where we come in.

Jenny has breast cancer and is starting chemotherapy. Because this will wipe out her immune system, runny noses are no longer harmless. Jenny has to balance paying her bills with giving her body a chance to heal. This is where we come in.

Giving to Jenny is really more like giving back, because she has already given so much. She gives love to our children, gives lessons, gives hugs. She fills the classroom with her presence and her warmth. She gives us parents peace of mind, knowing that our children are more than safe - they are thriving. If this were a commercial we could just call it 'priceless', but reality intrudes.

Society still needs to address the fact that teachers are underpaid, that the job of caring for our babies is more important than any other, and that the rest of us wouldn't last a day in a room full of toddlers. Until then, here's reality: Jenny doesn't have disability insurance, so she won't get any income when she takes time off. Yet we know that's not going to stop the medical bills from coming in.

Now it's our turn to give. We can help her recover.

Please make a donation and help spread the word. Send this to grandma, post it on facebook, do what you can. Thank you.
