It is by our karmas that we build our destiny and it is by our karmas alone, that we should be judged, if need be.

I designed this t-shirt last year (August 2012) after a mass shooting took place at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, with a single gunman killing six people and wounding four others. Mistaken for Muslims because of their beards and turbans, Sikhs have seen a long history of bias crimes. The first person murdered in retaliation for the 9/11 attacks was a Sikh -- a gas station owner in Mesa, Arizona, named Balbir Singh Sodhi who was shot five times by aircraft mechanic Frank Roque.

But does every person wearing a turban, be it a Sikh or a Muslim or of any other religion, has to pay the price for acts of terrorism by those who have nothing but hatred for humanity as whole.

This t-shirt is an attempt to stop racial profiling and discrimination. It is not to promote any religion but use
Turban as a metaphor to wear our culture with pride and break all those stereotypes that a few unsocial elements in the society use to breed hatred and distrust amongst people.

Help us break these stereotypes! Help us spread some good karmas...We need your support!
