The children of India need your help!

Few things in my life have moved me as deeply as the children of India. I had the pleasure of experiencing their joy and magnificent light this fall while visiting 9 of India's most popular cities. Their beauty brought tears to my eyes on several occasions. I had the pleasure of teaching an english class in Rishikesh, also known as India's gateway to the Himalayas. Our friend, Olivier- who I can only say I was introduced to by a universal force known as the power of God (via Laura)- took me to meet The Children of the Ganges, and surprised me by insisting I teach my very first English class! Now, I know there are people who do this every day, but I have never had such an experience before. In general, the people of India are the most warm, gentle and kind of anyone I've ever encountered. But the children are beyond magical. These children are bright, energetic and magnificent. I was so surprised at their level of intelligence and I seriously considered becoming an English teacher in a foreign country simply because of how powerful this experience was! Then I decided that for now, I must at least do my part.
I try to do a little bit of charity for my Birthday every year. I'll be honest, considering the amount of abundance and blessings I've received in my life, I don't think I give enough. Nonetheless I've decided to donate my time to raising money for my 32nd Birthday to The Children of the Ganges. Their mission: To provide free quality education for street children and underpriviliged children in Rishikesh, India. You can visit their facebook page here:

or their website here:

Please donate what you can and thank you for helping me to celebrate my birthday by giving back a little love and light that the Indian children gave me.

Namaste
