Yudelka and her husband, Yuakin and their children live in extreme poverty in the Dominican Republic.  Having a special needs child multiplies the challenge that they have. 

They do not own a home and have great difficulty even paying rent and putting food on the table.  

They have 3 children.  

We are so grateful that Tamara and Jake Fackrell from Change the World Foundation have agreed to partner with Dominican Starfish Foundation to build this family a new home.  

On September 10 Jake and Tamara along with Amarilis Urena, took the family to the land that Dominican Starfish Foundation is donating so that they can have a home.

These are two of the new homes recently completed in that area. Their home will be similar.  

Yudelka fell sobbing into Tamara's arms when she heard the news that they would be raising the funds for them to have a home.  

The family is extremely grateful.  As with all our homes, we look for those willing to share to donate to help us raise the funds for the home.
