Our Mission

To promote outdoor recreation and alternative transportation within our community and to encourage and support collaboration within and between communities to ensure the safe enjoyment of the trail network for all users and neighbors.

FoNT was established in 2016 to help support the Cochituate Rail Trail and our emerging trail network throughout Natick and the region. We help fundraise to support and maintain the CRT, and partner with town and community groups to make our trails work better for the health and enjoyment of everyone.

We held our first big event and welcomed 2022 with a New Year’s Eve walk on the Cochituate Rail Trail! It was a great, family friendly community event with over 1000 attendees and 15 fire pit hosts! Special thanks to our volunteers, Natick Police, Fire and DPW, and  Amvets Post 79. We are thinking about how to ring in 2023 and want to hear from you. 

FoNT also needs your financial support. Your tax-deductible donation will support our mission to improve trail connections and conditions throughout our community, including: 

  • Trail care and maintenance
  • Trail enhancements and signage
  • Public education for access and development of the Natick trail system

A donation of any amount is welcome. Also please share this campaign with friends and family, and ask that they help spread the word too!
