We are in the midst of a very serious  mental health crisis. The gap between individuals who are struggling and the resources they need is larger than ever. Through storytelling Unsinkable helps people #BridgeTheGap between struggling with their mental health and taking steps forward toward mental well-being. 

Who we are:

  • Unsinkable is an official mental health storytelling charity founded by 4-time Olympian Silken Laumann.
  • We are the leader in mental health storytelling to empower well-being.
  • Unsinkable humanizes the way people access and experience mental health support.
  • We use storytelling to help people bridge the gap between struggling with their mental health and taking steps towards mental well-being.

Where does my donation go:

Every dollar donated goes directly towards Unsinkable programming to help broaden the impact of our programs. Big or small, your contribution creates immediate and tangible support for youth and adults on their mental health journey. See examples below on how your donation will create direct impact in our organization.

Supporting Unsinkable Adult and Youth Programs:

  • Specialized training, such as peer support, for Unsinkable Youth Council leaders.
  • Workshops and coaching to help Unsinkable Community Champions reach their goals.
  • Engaging digital experiences for our Youth Council members ( virtual field trips, workshops, and speakers)
  • Focused programs and resources for marginalized communities and at-risk youth.

 

Supporting Unsinkable Resources:

  • New and innovative tools to support a safe, high-impact mental health storytelling experience
  • Accessible, curated online content designed to engage those in need of critical mental health knowledge and resources
