Now that you’re registered, you can start fundraising with your personal fundraising page that you can share via email and social media. Remember, we need your support to reach our goal. We encourage you to set a fundraising goal for yourself and your team as well. Below are some simple steps to get you started, but please feel free to contact us via email at info@socialbutterfliesfoundation.org with any questions.

1. Log into your fundraising page personalize it by sharing your reason for walking; tell visitors to your page how lupus and/or fibromyalgia has affected you. You can upload a picture to make it even more personal.

2. We encourage you to write your own passionate email and share your story and connection to lupus and/or fibromyalgia, and what the walk means to you. You may also modify the template provided.

3. Share your fundraising page with your family, friends, and colleagues via email and social media. Encourage them to join your team and join you on Walk Day as well as join your efforts to raise funds. Teamwork makes the dreams work! 

4. Organize a team fundraiser such as a dining fundraiser, a party, bake sale, etc. Ask your employer if they do gift matching. Participate in the Social Butterflies Foundation fundraisers, and ask how your team can help. Making a difference starts with one step. Thank you for taking the first step!
