Dear All,

I'm Erika Bodó from Hungary. I started pole dancing as a sport 2,5 years ago - and I've loved it since my first training class! Before that, I had never competed in any sport, but after 10 months I decided to prepare for the first pole competition in my life. At this local championship organised by the pole dancing studio I won first position, which drove me to prepare for the Hungarian National Championship.

So, only a year  after my first pole class - while also working full time - I participated in the Hungarian National Championship in 2018 and won 3rd place in the "Pofessional" category.

It was a such a great experience that I had to continue :) But I decided to continue with a different challenge. I tried myself as a part of a double.

It was great fun, so my partner and I accepted the challenge - we decided to enter the Hungarian National Championship this year. Winning the 'Elite' category meant that we qualified for the World Pole Championship to Montreal, Canada, which will take place in October 2019. Our dream came true - this was our one and only goal!

You can watch our performance video from the Hungarian National Championship cklicking on the Youtube-link.

I am very proud that I can represent my country. However, the training studio, the coach, equipment, plane tickets, accomodation, and last but not least, the knit in the Hungarian national coloures cost a small fortune.

As I'm neither supported nor sponsored by any studio or company, your contribution would help me pay the extenses of this new challenge.

Please find attached my short introduction video about the training sessions, competition, and of course my beautiful country :)
