I met Sam McGoun, founder of "Touch Sala Bai" at an event in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. After hearing his story and learning about the Sala Bai hospitality school I was convinced I could do something more.

So, with one week left to prepare, I will face dehydration and aching limbs, when I toe the line at the Singapore Standard-Chartered Half-Marathon on the 6th December. In return, while I am doing the hard work, I am asking you to learn some more about Touch Sala Bai and find it worthwhile to donate something to this inspiring cause.

In pursuit of its mission, TSB exclusively supports the Sala Bai Hotel School of Siem Reap, Cambodia with funding, partnerships and expertise.

Sala Bai is a model solution to alleviating poverty and its consequences. In 13 years, the School has graduated more than 1200 students (70% women, aged 18-22) from its free, 11-month training program and secured 100% employment at minimum 3 times previous annual household incomes.  100% of all funds raised go directly to the Sala Bai Hotel School and its students.

Khatna's Journey  - an inspirational 12 minute documentary about one young woman's journey to obtain an education at Sala Bai and employment in Siem Reap's hospitality industry.

A Step Between - a 16 minute documentary about one man's journey to run, bike and swim across Cambodia to raise awareness of human trafficking and raise funds for the fight against human trafficking.
