Meet Jodi. She is a single mom on disability for severe anxiety, clinical depression, and a mood disorder. When she is able, she has a volunteer job, working up to 80 hours a month, to give back to her community. She drives kids to camp, helps friends get to doctors appointments and drives people to the food co-op every other week. When needed she helps to pick up food or donations for the community centre outreach programs.

Jodi's doctor is about 45 minutes away from her home and her mother, who she is very close with, lives about 45 minutes in the other direction.

Yesterday, Jodi's car stopped working. Unfortunately, she had three little girls in the backseat to take to camp, and no way to get them there. Just before the Summer, she spent over a thousand dollars in to repairs to keep the car running. Sadly, she just doesn't have the money to fix it this time.

Jodi's anxiety, combined with claustrophobia, rules out public transportation as an option. It takes her days to recover from being on a bus.

Without a car, Jodi can't get her daughter to the classes that she loves so much. Losing her car would impact so many lives other than just her own. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and will help Jodi continue to help her community.
