Many of you will already know our mother Melissa's cancer story and you may be wondering why we are still fund-raising since a couple of months ago i reported positive information. Her tumour had shrunk and was invisible on a scan, she had been advised to go off and enjoy her life for the tumor would be likely to return, but it was hard to say when and how severe it would be.

Unfortunately it was sooner rather than later.

Melissa has now been in medical care for over a month since she noticed painful swelling in her chest area and left arm.

The doctors concluded that this was all due to a blood clot that had formed in her upper arm/shoulder region.

The pain was agonising and she was kept on a hospital ward under NHS supervision for 10 days. After (wrongly) being sent home for a few days it became clear that something more was wrong and a local nurse advised that she go back to hospital.

So, in total it took the doctors over two weeks to suggest that it may have something to do with the cancer and that she should be tested.

The tests concluded that the cancer had come back and had spread very quickly.

She had been due to fly on the 4th August to the GcMAF clinic in Germany where she would undergo the alternative treatment that we had previously raised money for, however due to her blood clots she is now unable to fly.

We are now looking into hiring an international ambulance service to transport her to her destination so she can trial the treatment that she has been thinking about for a long while, but again this comes at quite a cost.

On the 31st August, my two brothers Raff and Frank will be jumping from a plane to help us raise as much money as possible to put towards the fund that will help us get our mum transported for the treatment that she deserves.

Please help us by getting involved and sponsoring these brave lads!
