In November Louise Silver, Julie Oliver and Emma Sage, three nurses from The Urgent Care Centre at West Cornwall Hospital are travelling to Ghana for two weeks to work in the remote outreach clinics teaching locals basic life support, first aid and woundcare, as well as promoting hygiene and health promotion. They aim to leave a legacy by training locals up to continue basic life support training and first aid. They are self funding this trip and undertaking it in their own time, donations would be gratefully recieved to help facilitate this trip and to take much needed equipment to these areas that are lacking in these facilities.
