Nikki Weekly suddenly and unexpectedly lost her beloved husband due to a car accident in 2008. She was 20 weeks pregnant at the time with an angel of a baby girl, Sara Madilyn Weekly. Sara was born in March of 2009, and to this day she lights up the lives of all those around her. She is truly a blessing and her father's spirit lives on through her. But when she was 15 months old, the struggle of working full time, raising a child as a single widowed mother, and realizing that she had never taken the time she needed to truly grieve caught up with Nikki. She voluntarily relinquished guardianship rights of Sara to her parents temporarily. Nikki went through quite a struggle, and will admit she made many mistakes in her time without Sara. She was never an absent mother, though. She tried to make sure she visited Sara daily, and lived next door to her parents to be as close as possible. As we all know, the grieving process never ends, but there came a time that Nikki felt she was ready once again to be Sara's mother, and put nothing else before that. Because of her past mistakes, there are those unwilling to believe that she is stable and ready. Nikki is now having to fight for custody of Sara in the judicial system, and her visitation has been severely limited. She is a mother in desperation and willing to do anything to get her daughter back with her. She also wants to continue to include Sara's grandparents in her life as she knows how important that is. We ask that any help that can be given will be, to provide for Sara while she is with her mother and help cover the legal costs, which as you can imagine are quite high. Any gift, no matter how small, is appreciated greatly from the bottom of a desperate mother's heart. If you can at all spare anything, please consider donating. Nikki is a good and fit mother who has made some mistakes in the past which do not define her. Her heart longs to be with her daughter now and forever more. No donation will go unnoticed and unappreciated. Thank you for reading and we hope you will consider helping with this matter.
