Dear friends!

This is a donation page for my Peak Performance Project fundraiser in support of the Burnaby Boys & Girls Club music program! In partnership with Songwriters of a New Generation (SONG), I've made it my goal to raise enough money to buy enough new instruments and materials to get the Burnaby BGC music program up and running again. Once that happens, I will be facilitating free weekly lessons for all the kids!

The influence that music can have on a life is unquestionable, however, the high cost of instruments and music lessons can make that inaccessible for families on a budget. Having seen many friends and peers turn to drugs, alcohol, and risky behaviour because of lack of involvement in social and emotional activites such as playing music, I'm trying my best (with your help of course) to break that cycle in Burnaby - with hopes of eventually spreading into Vancouver and the rest of the province.

Through my partnership with SONG (a branch of the Music BC Charitable Foundation), we will be able to purchase instruments and equipment at the lowest price possible. All of the money raised will go directly towards the purchase of these instruments & I hope to have the music program up and running for the Burnaby Boys & Girls Club as soon as possible!

Please donate if you can, every dollar helps!

Much much much love friends, thank you so much for your support.

- Luca

Our 12 neighbourhood Clubs give our kids a place to be amazing, safe, and have fun! We also provide substance-abuse services and support to some of the most vulnerable youth in our community. We offer counselling and employment services for youth and families. We offer programs for families with new babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and parents of teens. And we offer a summer wilderness camping adventure, Camp Potlatch, which is second to none.

Annually, we serve 10,000 children, youth, and families – and no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. No one.

Songwriters Of a New Generation (SONG) is a program available to both public and private schools in BC. We provide music industry mentors who visit class rooms as an after school club or alternatively can be integrated into the curriculum. These mentors provide music industry education, a safe place for students to express themselves, show students how to be part of (and build) a community, as well as teaching the age old craft of songwriting.

For more information about SONG, or to get your school involved, please contact or call 604-873-1198.
