Hey there. I'm Cessy.
I've been playing video games since I was a child, having received my first console when I was 8 years old. Since then, I've moved from console to console, to finally end up being most of a PC gamer. I still enjoy my PS3 and my Wii, but the PC tops the cake, and has for a few years now.
For the past year, I've been uploading Let's Plays on Youtube, trying to make a name for myself. It's good entertainment, and I've met numerous friends while doing it.
Unfortunately, I've been using a small acer computer (literally small, as the tower is barely over a foot tall) and although it has come in quite handy while starting out, it's starting to fail on a few occasions, and will clearly not let me play more powerful games. Or well, I can play them, but at low quality. And let's be honest here, who really wants to watch a low quality youtube video of a game they enjoy? Certainly not me.
That's why I need your help.
I have a job yes, but not only have my hours been cut, but I also have rent and bills, not to mention a debt to pay off. It's difficult setting aside enough money for a gaming computer with those taking obvious priority.

Now that I've been streaming on, I find it's even more of a necessity to play better quality games. The way things are going now, I feel as if I want to throw this computer out the window on numerous occasions.

I know it seems like a lot to ask, $1700, but that will buy all the right parts for a gaming computer to be built. I even have a list, thanks to a friend of mine. The problem is, although in USD the list would cost significantly less, buying the parts here in Canada where I am, is much more expensive. I considered ordering them, but customs would kill me even on the cheapest part. I've looked at many options for buying the parts cheaper, but unless I get a deal where I will be buying them from, I am out of luck.

Why do I even bother?

When I first started this fundrazr, it was all about getting partnered on YouTube with TGN, meanwhile, as I have started to grow on twitch, I feel that getting a sub button on there is much more feasible. In fact, I seem to be growing on a much quicker rate. It might be because I'm not really uploading on YouTube, but I can't really play my games to record anymore. The entire computer virtually shuts down. So ... yeah. I'm just unlucky it seems.

It may sound childish and silly, but gaming is a passion for me. It's not only a hobby anymore.

The Parts

Keep in mind, this list was made for me, the person knowing exactly what I'd be using it for, hence what I needed. The prices are in Canadian $$ ... PRE TAX

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor - $149
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler - $39
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard - $159
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory - $89
Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk - $109
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive - $99
EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card - $269
Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - $99
Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer - $25
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) - $99

Not Included:

Storm Enforcer - $103

Build - $99 (No, I will not build it myself. I'd be too paranoid of breaking something)

So, add on the usual taxes, and it brings it closer to $1500 ... the extra $200 is mostly to cover any extras that may pop up, as well as possibly a second monitor, though the latter is the least of my worries.
