Many years ago our four year old son, Christopher, came running to get me. "Mommy, Mommy, come see. Jesus is coming!" I looked out the window to a gray, cloudy sky with the sun's rays trying to peek through. This effect created a picture of light and dark that must have appeared Heavenly to Christopher. I told him that it wasn't Jesus, just the sun trying to see through the clouds. He answered me with, "No, Mommy, Jesus is in the Bronson Sky." Since that time our little corner of the world has been known by many of our friends as The Bronson Sky.

As some of you may know, Scott was fired last year from his place of employment after 25 years. The company that bought the facility four years ago let him go for no apparant reason.... stating that he wasn't a good worker. Well, you don't work for the same place for over 25 years being a "bad worker" so something else was afoot. If you ask me. But I'm just the wife. Since that time we have struggled with paying our mortgage and meeting other financial committments.

Because of this, our little corner of the world is in jeapordy. We received the foreclosure letter yesterday stating that we have 14 days to come up with $7,255.82 to avoid further foreclosure proceedings. I have been in contact with the mortgage company for a year now, but because of my lack of agressivenss and their endless stalling we might not get the loan modification in time. That being said, I'm asking for a little assistance.

We really love our little corner of the world where we have lived for 20 years and hope that we can stay another 20.This is a little like standing out on the corner with a cardboard sign that reads "will work for food" and I'm just as self conscious about this as I would be about that. We have already received some unsoliceted assistance which we are very grateful for, and thought if there are others who are able and anxious to help this might be the best way to let them know of our need. If you are one of those who can help, I thank you from the bottom of my little grinch heart and know that you will be blessed. If you're not one of those who can help, you will be blessed just for reading this whole thing. Thank you too.
