First, Leslie had a kidney transplant. Then she gave birth to a couple gingers. Then Doug had open heart surgery, which was financially bad enough, so he really didn't need the surgeon to accidentally cause nerve damage to his arms and hands. HELP. <3
Just when things had settled down...

You're wondering what you can do to help Leslie and Doug as they contemplate Doug being out of work for two months post-open heart surgery. Well, if you ask Leslie or Doug, they'll probably say, "Dunno, but thanks..." Because that's how they are. Stupid. But pretty.

But I have no qualms about telling you, honestly, what they'll need! MONEY. Short-term and long-term disability only replaces a fraction of lost wages. So bake a cake or drop off a bottle of wine and definitely offer to babysit or clean, but please-- distribute this to your friends and family and donate what you can. Even modest donations make a difference. Leslie would do it for you! (Leslie HAS done it for me, is how I know.)

If you have an online business, also consider donating a portion of proceeds to the Truvers. I will, and so will Rita! (Announcements to follow)
