Being in the mental health field and familiar with various mental health clinics and chemical dependency treatment centers in the Inland Empire, I feel there is a strong need to increase the level of whole-person care clients are able to receive while in treatment. Personally, practicing yoga over the past 8 years has been very therapeutic for me. My goal and dream is to be able to attend yoga teacher training this March, become a certified instructor, and then go out and offer at least one free yoga class at various mental health and chemical dependency treatment centers within Southern California (especially within the Inland Empire and LA). The only thing holding me back is the cost of the training program. Unfortunately, with a mountain of college and graduate school debt, I am unable to afford the cost of the training on my own. Please help me make this dream of servicing our communities with yoga a reality. To express my gratitude for any donation you are kind enough to offer, I will mail you a handmade bracelet with green beads to represent the color of the mental health awareness ribbon. Thank you so much for your time and support!!
