UPDATE!!! NOW YOU CAN DONATE TO BEN HINKLE SOLDIERS GUM PROJECT & HELP BEN GIVE THEM A JOLT OF ENERGY this christmas! Hi! It’s me, Ben Hinkle and I am in the 3rd Grade and I love my Country and the American Soldiers who fight hard for our freedom everyday. As you may know, when I was six years old, I saw a pack of Jolt Energy gum at the store with a picture of an American Soldier on it and it gave me an idea on how I can help the soldiers stay awake and also say thanks to them for helping keep me safe! So, my family and I raised money and the great guys at Jolt Energy and gumrunners.com pitched in and thanks to them and the United States Military, I sent over 600 packs of Jolt Energy gum and cards to the soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. I only wanted to help soldiers stay awake and smile, and maybe meet a pen pal! Well, I made TONS of pen pals and have even met some of those soldiers and made some special friends along the way! Jolt Energy Gum and gumrunners.com matched the money I raised dollar for dollar, so I can send gum to my heroes, the AMERICAN SOLDIERS DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY TO KEEP US FREE AND SAFE!!! This year my goal is to raise $1000... that could be 2000 soldiers OR MORE who will stay awake on duty and know that I am thankful for their hard work! Poppy is a Vietnam Vet, and my Mom recently told me about what happened on 9/11 before I was born. This makes me so sad and so proud that I am able to live in a country that I love and I know you do too. Please honor my soldiers…Your soldiers! Help me show them that we support what they do for us everyday, leaving their families to do it!
