The essence of living is found in giving. With your help, I have the opportunity to positively impact the country of Cambodia. Human trafficking is modern day slavery. In fact, there are three times as many slaves in the world today than at the height of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade! Sex trafficking is the most common form of human trafficking, silencing the world’s most vulnerable. Throughout the world women and children are being bought, sold, traded and exploited for sexual slavery. By using physical force, psychological manipulation and deception, traffickers and pimps exploit the vulnerable in order to supply the global demand for commercial sex. September 26 - October 1 I will be traveling with the women of High Heels Society to Cambodia to sow into the lives of human traficking victims. We will visit the She Rescue Home in Cambodia, a program that rescues young girls from human traficking. In addition I will have the opportunity to shadow and interview the legal counsel of this and other human rights organizations in order to gain insight on how these type of cases are handled. I will also be able to sit in on a law course at Royal University of Law and Economic in Cambodia. Half of our week will be dedicated to providing food and medical supplies to villagers. Your donation will go toward supplies for the She Rescue home, medical supplies, food and school supplies for local villagers, and travel expenses. Together I know we can impact Cambodia. Please help us reach our goal of $4000. Thank you for your donations and prayers. We will be posting pictures and stories throughout the trip. More detatils TBA. www.highheelssociety.com
