Halle was admitted to Loma Linda Children's Hospital on May 9 and diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 10 of this year. Since diagnosis, she has spend all but 2 weeks and 4 days in the hospital. Throughout her treatments, she has remained a happy, strong willed little girl. Unfortunately the cancer was string willed as well. None of the chemotherapy treatments seemed to effect the leukemia. She received a bone marrow transplant on September 17. 6 days later, Halle began suffering from multiple organ failure and edima throughout her body caused by swollen capillaries. She has been in the PICU unit on a ventilator every since. Halle has made major improvements since her transfer to the PICU, but her heart and lungs are still not strong enough to support her on their own. The generous support provided through this and other fundraisers have enabled her parents to remain by her bedside throughout her fight. Thank you for past and future support! If you are unable to donate money, please consider donating bone marrow. For more information, visit www.marrow.org.
