Give the opportunity he deserves to an outstanding young man with a bright future ahead of him and a chance to win against the system.

Jonathan H. Young, a young 19 year old from Ellington New York, needs our help. He has been held in the Butler County Prison in Butler Pa. without legal representation and hope. Jonathan is facing serious charges, for which many believe he is not responsible. The goal is to ensure he has good legal representation and help from professional counselors so that he can move forward with his life and dreams. He has strong support and is loved by his family and friends. We need to raise funds to ensure that the rights we all believe in are secured for Jonathan.

He has never been involved with law enforcement previously, and needs the understanding and support of the wider community to ensure all the help that we would want for ourselves is available for him.

Jonathan is a freshman at Jamestown Community College, and actively involved in theatre in the Jamestown New York area. He recently took center stage at the Spire Theater in Jamestown as the winner of Chautauqua's Got Talent competition. His interests include Psychology, Sociology and the Arts. Jonathan is a 2016 graduate of Falconer Central High School where he excelled in his classes and was an outstanding athlete competing in cross county track and field.

Helen Merrill, who directed Young in a number of productions including the most recent Rapunzel, the classic German fairy tale, said Johnathan is a wonderful actor who can perform dramas, comedies, as well as musicals. She said "he moves well, and he has a beautiful singing voice, a very, very talented young man.”

Jonathan's early years were challenged but he always reached out to other people with empathy and kindness. He has a huge heart and would do anything for you.
