SKCV (Street Kids' Community Village) is a a registered charity dedicated to helping street children rebuild their lives. I have visited this organization in Vijayawada during my school days and I was inspired by the work they do and the happiness they bring to the lives of street children.

SKCV serves children  who have run away from home or been forcibly thrown out or abandoned by parents. Life is especially hard for girls who find themselves alone, living on the streets. Many have run away to escape from mental, physical or sexual abuse. Once homeless, girls as young as six can be forced into prostitution.

The  phiosophy is to give as many children as possible love and an acknowledgement of their worth whilst providing a chance for them to regain their childhood by setting up a home where they could live in safety, become good, happy citizens and blossom away from the horrors of the streets.

Please help to make a contribution to a worthy cause. A liitle help will make a big difference. You can click on the following link to have a look at their web site.
