We are a group of Learning Disability Nursing students passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives. Please help us to fund a nursing placement in Vietnam!

In June 2015, we will be volunteering in a centre for children with physical and intellectual disabilities. Many are suffering the effects of Agent Orange & Japanese Encephalitis, and are isolated and vulnerable.

However, with the help of volunteers, we can support the children to lead meaningful lives. Teaching basic life-skills can help them become more independent, and be included in society. We hope that by caring for and empowering these children now, we can make a difference to their future.

All extra funds on top of our travelling expenses will be used to buy sensory toys, communication aids, and other equipment for the Centre. This way, we can continue to make a difference after we’ve left :)

We hope you can help! Thanks,

Callum, Charlotte, Dave, Emily & Jen x
