Clyde and Bonnie were rescued from the North end of Flint. He was on a 3 foot heavy chain, walking in a semi-circle of feces and mud. His "dog house" had a dead, fetid oppossum in it and many empty dog food cans, along with a thin layer of wet, moldy straw. His owner had died approximately 6 months prior and a neighbor told us he fed them, as he could, through that extremely bitter winter we had.

This fella is about 1 /12 years old, weighs approximately 70 lbs now and is a gentle soul. He loves people and is fine with children. He does have a high prey drive and will not do well with cats or other small animals.

Poor Clyde tested positive for heartworm. He got updated on all his shots and was wormed (he had a nasty case of round worms). He is now neutered.

Clyde will be undergoing treatment for another 3 1/2 months. In addition to asking for donations for Clyde's treatment, we are trying to find a calm, indoor setting for Clyde to recuperate in. He currently is living in a crate. While this is certainly not ideal, it is all that Clyde has available at this time.

Please help us, to help Clyde. For more information, or to inquire about fostering/adopting Clyde, please contact Losgatosfosteranimals@gmail.com or call 810-658-7917.
