On December 8th, 2001 my sister married the man she planned to spend the rest of her life with, and since then they have given us 2 beautiful daughters and 1 handsome son.

The man my sister chose to marry was not a legal citizen of the United States, he had come over the border with his family as a minor and had lived here ever since. After they were married they had a difficult time getting him his citizenship, due to the travesty of 9/11, and there have been a bunch of unforseen obstacles ever since. But they never gave up. They couldn't give up, my sister was diagnosed with MS and then later Lupus, she needed her husband to be home to eventually take care of her in her later years. No one knew when he would come home, and no one ever imagined that if he did come home, it would have to be in a box.

March 16, 2014 we received the call that he was in a fatal car accident. They were driving across a narrow bridge and the oncoming car didn't allow them enough room to pass, forcing their vehicle off the bridge, only one of the four survived.

There have been many phone calls that have been made these past 24 hours but due to the fact that he's so far away and in a different country, it makes it hard for us to know what's really going on. My sister has changed her flight (she had plans to visit him on 3/25) and will depart to Mexico tmrw *March 18th. Hopefully, then we will know more about cost and all the requirements that need to take place. But I, as well as many others, know that he didn't want to be in Mexico for an eternity, he just wanted to come home to be with his wife & babies. So I'm setting up this fundraiser to hopefully get our family what we've been fighting for since my brother-in-law laid his eyes on my sister, I'm trying to get him home.

If you can't afford to help financially, please don't fret, your words of compassion are always greatly appreciated.
