We walk, run, ride for my hubby Kelly, my step mom Jill; Laura; Amy S; Angela; Dale H; Yvonne; Pat; Debi; Dan; Maxine; Deidra; Amy N, Audrey & Anthony. Just to name a few! These names are family or friends of someone on Team Brown.

Kelly was clinically diagnosed in August of 2004. He's lived w/the ups & downs of having multiple sclerosis. This means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up, that you may suddenly have impaired vision, or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are different, and devastating, for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.

Caleb & I have participated in the MS walk since 2005. We started with a team of 2, then started growning to a team of 5, 16 and last year 60!  Many times people do not get involved in causes until it effects an immediate family member. My hope is to do my part in spreading the news on awareness.

Kelly & I have wanted to help others with this illness for some time.  We've had wonderful support from friends/family who want to support us but not a direct organization.  Many people want to know its being used for those who need it here and now.  Our goal is to provide that assistance not only for Kelly but others that we have seen that need the help.  Medical costs, prescriptions, scooters, canes, groceries, gift cards for something fun, etc.  Help those have as normal a life as possible.

I will not directly be the one deciding on those who will get assistance.  I have 2 ladies that I have asked to assist with certain details.

Last but not least WWTB's theme verse:

2 Corinthians 12:10

That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
