I am working with a small NGO, Paramedical Education Trust (PET), in Southern India for three months. During my time here I have created a project, working in collaboration with PET, to teach awareness of water born diseases that are prevalent in the area. These diseases include Dengue, Malaria, and Yellow Fever. I am currently working within 7 villages, which consist of 20 to 40 families. The villagers are very poor and most have stagnant water in every home (which attracts and breeds mosquitoes). Dengue is now spreading throughout Southern India, killing a few people this month alone, and I am on a mission to help these small villages work to protect themselves against the potentially dangerous disease.

Please help me raise enough money to be able to provide each family in the villages with one bed net! Thank you for your support! It will go a long way.
