Six teams will feature riders participating from 16 countries including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal ,Spain, Switzerland, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The goal of C2C4C is to raise awareness for cancer research and European cancer organisations who are members of the UICC.
Raising Funds for the Sandra Ibarra Association for cancer patients in Spain
According to the WHO, Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly 10 million deaths in 2020. This is why the Iberain Lynxes Team (riders of the 2022 year) are riding in support of Fundación Sandra Ibarra its mission to support cancer patients in Spain. Encourage your colleagues, families and friends to donate, as cancer affects us all.
Who Are the Riders
The participants are novice riders, who have committed themselves to 5 months of intensive training to complete their portion of the ride. Some are cancer survivors, others have witnessed the devastating impact of cancer on friends and family. Their kilometers will help raise funds to fight against cancer by supporting the Sandra Ibarra Foundation, a member of the Union for International Cancer Control.
