The Covid-19 pandemic has caused havoc around the world. The Dominican has shut its borders and closed all businesses until May. There are so many with nothing to eat. Because of quarantine and social distancing, the food markets are closed.  

Mothers can you imagine that all you have to feed your child is sugar water and then can you imagine running out of sugar. Hear Luis Miguel tell this story in the video. 

I (Lilia)  was a volunteer English teacher in the Dominican Republic.  I, along with other teachers grew to love the children so much and part of our hearts will be there forever.  It hurts so much to know that our special children are going to bed every night hungry.

With this  fundraiser, I hope to spread awareness and raise enough money to feed the families in need.

In America, we have the luxury of working from home but in third world conditions they do not. Their work is based on hard labor and being put at risk for anything.

I am working with a registered charity that has helped hundreds of hungry families receive food packs.  

With your help in this scary time, we can feed hungry families and keep them safe. Please help us bring smiles back to their faces.
