Arisleyda lives in desperate circumstances in the Dominican Republic.  She has 5 children but can only keep 3 with her because there isn't room or money to care for them.  Franklin is 5.  He is a special needs child and requires much added attention.  

They live in a rented home and more than half of their meager income goes to pay rent on a shack.  

All the children share one single bed.  She was trying to do laundry the day we visited.  

This mom has a huge handful to care for her children.  Please help if you can. We have found a nice plot of land with banana trees and other fruit with space enough for the children to play.  Building can start on a new home for the family as soon as the funds are collected.  Charitable tax receipts will be issued.  

Dominican Starfish Foundation is has a great background in building homes for those in need.  We have done over 90 now in just 6 1/2 years.  This is a recently completed one.
