I came home yesterday 6/12/14 to find one of my doxies limping to not being able to move her back legs. I took her to her vet at Crossroads animal Hospital and she immediately was take to Southeast Veterinay Neurology where she underwent an MRI. Doctor was hoping he would find a slipped disc which is what is common in dogs of Daphne's breed, but they found nothing!  I'm sad to say that she's being worked up for a neurological infection and will stay at the hospital for right now. Today, 06/14/2014, Daphne is worse today. Doesn't feel her toes. Yesterday she did....the doctor is supose to call me tomorrow for another update. Unfortunately I'm unable to see my Daph so I don't get her excited. She resting they say. And not in pain. I' don't know what to do. I'm very depressed. Daisy is sad and is looking for Daphne.

Today, 06/16/14, Daphne is home and reunited with Daisy. She  has no use of her hind legs and she may or may not regain the use of them.   She'll be on prednisone for the next 3 weeks and we will see from there what happens. Please pray of us. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this. I need all the support I can get. I appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart!  Thank you to Crossroads and Southeast Vetenirary Neurology. Dr. Gordon and Dr. Wong, I owe you!!!
