Sergeant Chicora is my good friend and needs our help. He was medically retired from the Marine Corps in May of 2012 and has been persuing a career in music education by attending school.

Sergeant Chicora joined the Marine Corps and deployed to Phantom Fury in 2004 as a Lance Corporal and then deplyed to Ramadi as a Corporal two more times. In 2009 he deployed to Afghanistan as a Platoon Sergeant and Engineer Operator where he was wounded in action with nine of his fellow Marines. He spent the last two and a half years at Wounded Warrior battalion recovering from his injuries until his retirement.

Sergeant Chicora has always been an upstanding person and dear friend. He always puts others before himself and is dedicated to helping others in anyway he can, but recently he has not been able to do anything but barely get by.

His wife left him in July and took their dogs. She left him with the lack of her income and stuck him with all the bills they had and the house they are underwater with. His social security benifits have recently been denied due to his ability to perform in the top 15% at school.

My friend has nerve damage throughout his body, PTSD and a Traumatic Brain Injury that he struggles with everyday, but never complains and always asks what he can do for others. He has told me that he may be losing his house if he cannot find a way to supplement the money that has been taken away and is searching for work to add to his 80 hour week of school work, but is finding it hard to get hired while being a full time student and disabled veteran.

I am asking you to please help my frined in anyway possible. I set this fund raiser up for him. He does not know about it because he would tell me to take it down if he did. Lets help this Hero keep his home and get back on his feet so he can concentrate on school and continue helping others.
