Johanna is an incredibly wonderful person, wife, mother and extremely talented singer (see her posted videos below) but currently she has a condition known in psychology today as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD as it was referred to in the past) (e.g. The same condition as seen in the recent Stephen Spielberg Showtime television series called "United States of Tara" which is currently available to view on http://www.netflix.com . I can testify from my experiences of being with her each day that this condition is very real and painful,  It is strongly believed the condition DID occurs due to early childhood abuse or as in the case of Johanna, while attending a Catholic school from 1st to 5th grades. The abuse was carried out by a Catholic Priest at the church and school, sometimes away from the school and even at times in her own home while her parents were completely unaware.  The abuse was serious, traumatic and lasted for several years. Johanna was in constant fear for her life or her families. Told by the priest that she would be killed if their secrete ever got out.  As a result she not only developed DID but also PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) and has many flashbacks that have her still living the reoccuring painful memories all over again. Now at the age of 42 she is only marginally better and has been hospitalized over 7 times in just the last couple of years. She has even had several attempts at taking her own life due to all of the stress, depression and trauma she suffered. Johanna currently has hospital bills that are astronomical and we simply do not have the resources to pay for these bills. She went without insurance for several years due to her disability and not being married to someone with good insurance. Some of her doctors are now turning her away for lack of payment because we simply can't keep up with it. I love her dearly and pray for her recovery but we can't do it without your kind support and generosity.  Each donation no matter how small or large will be used to pay for her past due medical expenses, Hospitalizations or legal fund. Please donate something today to help restore the life that was lost and return hope to this wonderful person my wife. Thank you!
