It's been a while since we last heard from Mandisa and Brittany (AKA Porkchop McFattypants).

"Since last I talked to you, Brittany has had a few more chemo treatments. The last two drugs we tried weren't really helping slow down the tumor's growth, so she had one more treatment three weeks ago with another drug we hadn't yet tried. As her vet said last appointment, we know the cancer is going to be what gets her, but this most recent treatment might at least slow things down and help her keep feeling better for longer. She got so sick after it, I ended up taking her to the vet's emergency clinic because she stopped eating and wouldn't stop vomiting. I promised B that unless it had a really big impact on the size of her tumor (we've got a check-up tomorrow to see if the last treatment helped), I'm not going to make her go through that again. She's finally feeling good again since the side effects have subsided, and acting happy, and I don't want to take that away from her. After surgery, four chemo drugs and radiation, I think the poor kid's been through enough.

I hate to ask this, but I recently went into business for myself so the influx of money is less consistent than it used to be. Having to try another more expensive chemo depleted my bank accounts. My hope is that once I'm making more money, I can make a substantial donation to CorgiPals and give back to the community who has helped out Brittany so much. Is CorgiPals able to help?"

You bet! I have set up a subsequent fundraiser to help Brittany out. She needs $2,854 to help pay for her treatments and meds. Let's spread the word and help Brittany out once again!
