My name is Brittani I have a amazing pure breed english bulldog named Tank. He is ten months old and the cutest thing on the face of this earth. He has more personality, love and loyalty in his little body then any other dog I have ever meet. I have had him since he was eight weeks old. He was given to me by a friend who after a few days decided he couldn't take care of him. Being the animal lover that I am I could not say no and thank the lord I didnt because Tank completes my family. Since his first vet visit just shortly after I got him he has been in and out of the vet and animal hospital. As a brand new puppy he had a upper respiratory infection that they found Mycroplasma. Since that he has been to the vet every month if not more with a different infection. He has been on multiple antibiotics, done tons of blood work and had xrays. Each xray showing that Tank suffers from pneumonia. Non of the antibiotics have been able to treat his condition causing him to have seizures when his condition is not controlled by antibiotics. This leaves the specialist to believe his lungs are filling up with fluids from somewhere not knowing if it is from inside or outside. They believe the antibiotics keep the lungs just dry enough to maintain but once taken off it fills up which is causing lack of oxygen which ultimately causes his seizures. Obviously a general vet bill is not cheap not to mention an ER vet and the amount of test he has needed. I have paid thousands of dollars in medical bills in the last ten months for my sweet boy. I have taken out care credit, reached out to rescues and tried everything possible. Ruling out everything a normal veterinarian can do they have told me my only option to help him is to take him to a specialist to do a bronchoscopy. The test alone is $1800 that doesn't include the ultrasound, the review of his past medical records, medication or the procedure once they find out where the fluid is coming from. My funds have ran almost completely dry and this is my only chance to help Tank live a happy long filled life without suffering. Tanks condition is urgent his veterinarian only gave him a month supply of medication and wont refill it. He has his first appointment Monday at UF. Every dollar would help to save my baby boy! Any funds rasied over the amount of Tanks procedures will be donated to Bulldogs with special needs! Thank you♥
