A fire broke out in El Paso TX on 22 August 2012. The incident took the life of a 78 year old grandmother while she was trying to protect her two great grandchildren ages 2 and 4. She died a couple of hours later due to smoke inhalation. Her efforts were not in vain as the 2 children survived the event unscathed. The grandfather of the children is currently in critical condition after receiving severe burns throughout his body. He is currently in Lubbock TX and doctors are awaiting all family members to be present in order to make the decision to pull the plug. (UPDATE: The member and head of household has just passed away) The family is going through great hardship dealing with the death of their loving Mother and arranging her funeral. We are seeking help in order to reduce their hardship as they will have to deal with medical bills, funeral costs, and the inevitable home repairs exceeding over $100,000.00. Unfortunately the family did not have their home insured as they are low income and could not afford it.
